 Career Overview

Natalie Douthwaite is an experienced Physical Education teacher, netball coach, and tutor specialising in GCSE and A Level PE. Having previously taught at St George’s Weybridge and The Marist School, Ascot, she has extensive experience supporting young people both academically and athletically.

 Coaching & Playing Experience

During her time at The Marist School, Ascot, Natalie worked as a PE Teacher, Head of Year, and Netball Specialist. She played a key role in developing the school’s netball programme, helping to foster a passion for the sport and contributing to the school’s qualification for the National Schools Finals on two occasions.

Natalie has competed at a high level throughout her playing career, representing Eagles Regional Division 1, where she was part of the squad that secured promotion to National Premier League status, as well as WPB Division 1 and Royals Division 1. She currently continues to play for enjoyment with Woodley Division 3.

Her representative experience includes participation in the National Performance League (NPL), Team South, and the England Netball Excel Pathway. She has also served as a training partner for Surrey Storm in the Netball Super League.

As a coach, Natalie has worked with Royals Netball Club, leading both Under-11 and Under-15 squads. She has also held the role of University Netball Officer, organising and delivering recreational netball sessions to encourage participation and engagement in the sport.
